Striking bell and movement behind square brass dial plate mounted with engraved chapter ring and Baroque castings in the spandrels, the ring inscribed “I * DAVIES Bp\s Caftle” across bottom, and one pierced steel hour hand, all enclosed by a shallow, flat-corniced hood containing a square glazed door in triple-pegged joined frame, flanked by quarter-engaged spindles, over a straight waist framing a narrow door on two butterfly hinges retaining a wooden bolt, includes pendulum and one lead weight, 40cm wide, 25cm deep, 193cm
